Title: My First MOD
Post by: DUKE on March 22, 2008, 03:34:07 PM
Ok guys here it is I am sry for the horrible video quality but its the only camera i have. I got bored with hacking so i thought i would try my hand in modding. The sound is also crapy because of the camera but its really crystal clear.

Things I did:
USB charge
Sound reactive LED's
LED's to Hold Switch
Large Speaker in umd Bay
Clear Plastic on UMD door with Sound reactive LED

Everything that appears orange is really red ( :censored: camera)

Thanks to everybody at acidmods for helping me out!

Very, very nice... :victory: Good job!
I'm in the process of my making my own sound reactive mod right now...I was wondering, Did you use 3 LM386's (1 for Large speaker, 1 for Left audio, 1 for right audio)?

I hooked a wire to the negative side of the speaker and hooked a 10 Ohm 1/8 watt resistor to the postive side then ran my positive wire from that. I would recommend using the LM386 audio chip because it produces a brighter light.
