Title: Who know's how to do this.
Post by: vgamer360 on March 22, 2008, 07:37:06 PM
Recently, I updated my PSP's cfw to 3.90-2m33 and I was wondering if there was ANY way at all to downgrade the cfw to get to 1.5ofw OR 3.71m33 OR 3.80m33 because my current cfw does not support most of my favorite hombrew even with the 1.50 kernel mode.  Is there any way i can do this without Pandora's battery? Like that psp/game/recovery/eboot.pbp thingy?

Problem solved, scroll down for current problem.

That's not working.  I downloaded the files needed to run it and i put that 'recovery folder' with all of it's contents premade into my psp game,game150, and game390 folders.  Nothing worked. Can i replace all my flash files to an older m33 like 3.80?

isn't there a program that allows you to load older firmwares? And why wouldn't your old 1.5 homebrew work in the 1.5 kernel? that's wierd...

because some homebrew was designed for a lalter cfw not the newer ones.  Like Daedalus.

I've googled for this answer and i could not find anything.  In theory, if i had the flash0 files from 3.71m33.  what would happen if i over wrote all of my current 3.90m33 files with the 3.71m33 files?  Would it work?  Or would it mess my psp up because they were not wrote to mine the correct way.

i have 3.9 m33-2 with the 1.5 kernel add-on and all my homebrew works great

wait did you even install the 1.5 kernel add-on? because with out that you won't beable to play any homebrew

I never needed pandoras battery so i never bothered to learn much about it.  I always thought that once it was made, it was rendered useless and could not be changed back.  Anyways, anyone here know how to get my emulators like gpsp, or the snes ones to work?  I just had them working on the 3.80m33 but now they will not work on my 3.71-4m33 nor will the vast majority of my homebrew work.  I have tried both kernal modes and the folder are placed in Game150 under the psp file on the root of the stick.
