after i took off my mother board and put it back i couldnt turn it on when i plugged everything back in. i thought it was the cable for the charger so i change it and it worked once. but i tried the other one again and it never powered on again. any one know whats wrong?
-
did you do anything to your power board when you took it out like mod it or somthing? and try it with another power PCB
-
no i didnt do anything to the powerboard but i will try another pcb once i get them. but i dont think its the powerboard.

i found something interesting today, i put on pandora to see if it would turn on(for some reason i had a dream that if i put pandora on the broken psp it will some how help me find the problem.) after i put it nothing seem to work. But i was just curious and got my screwdriver and touched the memorystick led with one of the resisters next to it and it turned on. i also touched the lcd cage and the positive side of the led and it also turned on. Any one know whats making the mobo not turn on?
-
maybe you've got a short somewhere....idk, just an idea =D
-
but i haven't done anything to the mobo i just took it off once so i can put the umd door.
-
u have probaly got a short or blwn sumfing up on the motherboard :cry2:
-
try replacing the ribbon cables between the powerboard and the mobo. also don't triple and double post
-
sorry about double posting and triple posting i will do what u guys told me.
If you put back the motherboard wrong and it touches the metal lining, it'll create a short and will cause the PSP to not turn on. Disassemble the PSP and reassemble it correctly.
thanks that was the problem. its working now
