Title: Memory Stick LED always on

Hey guys,

Finally had some time this weekend to crack open my PSP for the first time. I swapped out the memory stick LED, but it is always on.  What did I do wrong?

just clean up your soldering something is probably touching maybe a resister. anyways i like my memstick led always on its cool

The solder is clean.  It's not touching any of the three surrounding resistors.  I did the wi-fi LED and that works fine.  I even removed the mem stick LED and resoldered, but it remains on all the time.  Any ideas?  Help!

check it with a new led might be a faulty one ? hope this helps :hifive:

Thanks for the tips, guys.  I tried another LED and wound up with the same result.  The mem stick LED stays on  all the time.  Even if the PSP is turned off, the mem stick LED is on.  I give up.  :wacko:
