well...I took apart my slim...I did the trigger mod/UMD jewel/LED mod, and wifi/mem/power/charge swap...all to Green...also sound sensitive with LM386 and wired to wifi switch...anyways, when I tried to test it(before I put it back together) the power LED come on, and the trigger/UMD LEDs come on when I turn on the switch...but the screen doesnt work...I thought it may have just been a brick, but then I realized its probably not since the backlight wont turn on either, but I dunno...seems like the screen would still come on(but VERY dim) if it was just the backlight....but I could be wrong....anyone know what this is/could be
any help will be appreciated...thank you so much^^

Blown Backlight fuse.
-
i thought the screen didn't even turn on so its blank
-
yeah...none of it works...the screen looks like I never turned the PSP on, but the power light comes on and my LEDs work so I dunno
wouldnt the screen still come on...just dim as :censored: without the baclight....or would it not work at all???
-
Try holding it up to a light to see if you can see anything on the screen when it's turned on.

just in case....if it is a blown backlight fuse...how would I fix it??
-
find it and then bridge it ;)
-
is it the same as the phat one??
also....if I do bridge it, and it turnd out that the baclight fuse wasnt the problem, will the bridged fuse be a problem for anything else??

no

k thanks I'll try it

only problem could be if it surges then there is no fuse to stop the blow to your backlight
