Title: SMD OR SMT? for LEDS

yea i need to know which is better for putting the LEDS into my psp triggers(SMD or SMT), dpad ect.... here is my options


1.6X0.8MM BLUE SMD LED
1.6X0.8MM BLUE SMT LED
1.6X0.8MM WHITE SMD LED

also what size is the green LED light on the psp, (aka the power button light), that size is gonna help me see which size is better for my psp when i buy the LEDS online

SMT is the SAME as SMD  :rofl:

Surface Mount Type
Surface Mount Diode

As LEDs are diodes, its means exactly the same.

hehe yea there the same :P
but dont use the power led as a ex. use 0603 leds, there proly the best size leds for the psp, and if ur swapin the power led just use 0603 leds too

I use 1206 as theyre twice as big, but still tiny. Easier to work with

is it small enough to fit into a dpad? or a button like X [] O /_\
