Title: can you guys help me set up my dvd recorder?

I have no clue how to set it up with MY set up.
I have a 60GB PS3 connected to my TV via HDMI
Then I have a Sony DAV-DX255 5.1 home theater system connected to my to via Audio out (white and red cable) and S-Video (yellow)
I can post pics of the back of my TV, dvd player and dvd recorder. Help me set this up so i can record live TV, and ps3 game play. thanks!

It doesnt come with an instructions manual?!?!?!?!?
