Title: Where to put the ic (sound mod) for phat psp

heys guys im new and im a noob at modding xD first time i opend my psp and i did everything and i just dont knwo where to put the ic. can anyone tell me plz? ive tried searching every where especially using search button and i still cant find it. your help is very appriciated.

out of lazyness and inpaticents i decided to stickmine between the umd drive and lcd but u have to break off the lil tabs on the bottom of lcd brace with pillow thing on it and remove a spring on the thing that causes it to go up but thats kinda hard. put it under or to the left of wifi board

Here is a nice little place to put the lm386 chip for the sound mod. NOTE: Put electrical tape over chip so it wont short with anything.

Its right below the d-pad and above the wifi switch if you cant tell.

With this method you do not need to remove your wifi board at all.

like that way sprocket wish i would have thought about that...then again im doing the stereo mod
