Title: PSP modification ideas
Post by: GhoSt on May 03, 2008, 08:25:25 PM: hi peps i have recived several psp's and want to do sum new mods on em. I have a few ideas for mods but am working on 1 at the moment. I got sum questions i need anwsered if u can help that whud be great.

well heres what im gona do on my psp

multimedia psp: UMD drive removed and replaced with a audio amplifier (250 - 500mW) drivin from 3.6 v with inbuilt shutdown feature wired to a dip switch, 1 watt speaker on umd door, monophonic audio output from amplifier so you can switch from the 1watt internal speaker and any 8ohm speaker through some clip output thingys i got. Then mount 2 Lm386's behind wifi and crank in bout 4 red sound reactive leds in trigs and stock speakers. and mabe make the screen flip top depending on how well the peps who are working on that go. (dont worry i have sizd it all up nd it all fits :tup: )

soooo... my questions

1.) whats the wattage of the psp's stock out put to speakers?
2.) whr should i get the 3.6v to drive the amp from
3.) how many Ohms are the stock psp speakers?
4.) what do u think of this idea?

random unrealated question

1.) anyone happen to know the impedence of the psp wifi antenna output is?

yea bud there is a external wifi antenna mod on engadget
