I was just wondering how many people would like a sound amplifier mod to another set of speakers in the psp, if so I'll release a tutorial.

Alright it seems that people are interested so I'll be posting a tutorial by the end of the week. I'll be installing it on the slim since I don't have my phat at the moment. I hope you guys don't have a problem with that

yea, anything to make the PSP louder is a plus here, but how much louder do you think it can get? :confused:

hmm if u could make it with 8 ohm speakers would be better there are sum radio shack speakers that are 8 ohm and loud as hell and 1 is prob 2x psp and you could fit about 4 of them in the umd drive and it will be flush

yep thats it u can fit about 4 so psp will be aproxamatly 8 times louder :dribble: but u will have to trim the speaker a lil bit to make it fit inside umd drive and still be able to close it but i think u should cut holes in door for speakers to fit in the coverwhem with a grill and cum head phone muff material

I already have the amp. It is a TDA7053a Stereo amp in a single IC works great low power

I have ordered about 5 different speakers that are very close to the same size as the internal speakers but much better quality.
Some of them are capable of 80db !

This mod would work with the new Acidmods pulse led mod also

As soon as I get the speakers I will let you know
