what is it? Also what's the difference between the other versions of the psp? :confused:

psp 1001 is the fat and the slim is 2002. i think it is the size of the psp but im not positive

the size is the obvious dif but the 1001 has 32 mb of ram and the 2002 has 64mb.

psp 1001-less ram,bigger,slower,wifi switch on bottom,less bright screen
psp 2002-more ram,smaller,faster,wifi switch on top,more bright screen

The PSP 1000's span a number of models and are generally the same, and the same goes for the PSP 2000's (Slims) are same too the new motherboards coming out cant produce Pandora's batteries. It would be best to refer to them as PSP 1000 and PSP 2000 unless you are referring to a specific model

i think he is right cas 4 of my psp's are 1002 i think they are NZ/Ausi psp's or eupore psp's and i have a 1000 and its a japanese psp
slims are anything in the 2000's

The the different motherboards in the same series of PSP (eg: 1000) are simply a revision on the previous board. Adding more stability, security ect. The new PSP Slim motherboards are made so they cant make Pandora's batterys, this is an example of what the new motherboards upgrades do
