Title: Psp k.o.

When my psp was updating the battery fell out and now when i turn it on it shows black background with no icons and only stays on for about 30 seconds and turns off . Can any body help me or tell me what to do.whem i went to game stop the man said it is k.o.ed ... Can anyone if this? Plz

you bricked it, you will need to unbrick it with pandora's battery if you ever want to use it again. You need another psp with custom firware to make the pandora's battery.

yeah it would work, just you will need a seperate psp to transfer the files onto your mem stick unless you have a reader for it already on your computer

Any PSP model will work to make a Pandora's battery/memory stick but it has to be on a Custom Firmware

unless you hardmod the batt it can go back into normal mode

But make sure you backup the batters EEPROM if you want to revert it back to a  normal PSP battery because if you don't you might have some problems

indeed back-up....

idk which is easier though the hard mod or the softmod I think the soft mod is quicker but thats my opinion.....

The softmod is easier and is recommended but only do the hardmod when you have no access to a PSP flashed with a custom firmware

My psp is working again but it wont let me play a 2.80 version game but it will let me play 2.0version game lyk starwars battle front.. But thing is i have 3.40 oe-a... Also the x button is the back button and the o button is the enter button.. Its only lyk this in the home menu... Is there a way i can put a regular firmware on my psp so my 2.8 games lyk vice city stories can work and my button will be regular again.. Plz help me ... ;(

Try changing the kernel in the recovery menu. Access that by holding R trigger while booting up. Also, the o and x buttons reversed I think can be fixed in the recovery menu too, but I'm not sure.

The X and the O buttons can be changed under Registry Hacks in Recovery Menu
