Heres the rest of the specs to that computers mobo if you were wondering. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=bph07813&lc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=90862&dlc=en (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=bph07813&lc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=90862&dlc=en)
Also, I don't think its a good idea to spend only 100 bucks for both a PSU and Mobo. Chances are you'll only end up ruining one with the other, I've seen some very bad things with cheap power supplys. If you decide to take my advice then I can help you, but I can't tell you to buy a sub$50 PSU when I wouldn't put the thing within 5 feet of my computer lol. Mobo that I personally have is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813186109 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813186109). It is cheap for a good mobo and does exactly what I wanted it to do. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139003 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139003) is the PSU I put in my moms computer that I upgraded for her, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139002 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139002) is the one in mine. Good luck with whatever you choose, if you need more advice just ask and I'd be glad to help, computers are my life and have been since I was about 10 (18 now).

wow that mobo is the perfect one for me. ok about the mobo and psu i wasnt looking to buy both with a hundred dollars i was just gonna buy a good mobo. will that mobo fit pentinum dual core?
-
$100 will not buy you a Mobo you want to use, the one im looking at for my build is $200
-
im not building a hardcore gaming machine you know. i just need a comp for everyday use.

You don't need an expensive mobo if you don't OC or use SLi. Mine is used for gaming and runs perfectly (as does my sisters, same build 'cept that she has a 7900GS instead of my 8800GTS), if he's only using his for internet then I see absolutely no problems since you wouldn't oc or use sli for that anyways lol.
When you say will it fit a pentium dual core do you mean just an Intel dual core cpu or do ya mean the Pentium D? There are alot of dif dual core cpus out there, but it can use alot of em. E6600 is what I have in mine, but you can go with something slower if you think you dont need that much speed. A news site I use alot just linked a very cheap barebones kit if thats more what you're into. http://www.tigerdirect.com/email/wem1623.asp?SRCCODE=HARDOCPEMAIL1&CMP=OTC-HARDOCP (http://www.tigerdirect.com/email/wem1623.asp?SRCCODE=HARDOCPEMAIL1&CMP=OTC-HARDOCP)

Was one of Intels "starter" dual core cpus, I know what you mean now about the pentium dual cores lol. You're talkin about somethin like this right? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116063 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116063) Barebones are very good to start with, since you know that the base parts work together.
