It Was a console that was availible in japan. very much like a PS3 of it's day. you could play music, flims and such on it. but was based on the ps1 games. no topic for this as hardly anyone has one (if at all).

by the way you made a bit of an error lol, a psx is a ps2 with an xmb, dvd-r drive, and (i think) can record movies.
 :censored: ing huge tho lol

It also supported TV, and allowed you to record shows

Too expensive for its features but it did bring the XMB into Sony's new products. There are a few videos on Youtube of them

but yea, psx games are like ps1 games on the psp..
