Title: Would it melt

Didnt know where to put this, but if there is a ribbon in any type of console, and you used hot glue, would it damage it in anyway, also, if you were to take it off, would it rip or something?

I've have not experienced every type of ribbon cable but I do know that the PSP's ribbon cables can withstand hot melt glue

i have spilt hot glue on my power board ribbon and alll i did was wipe it off and it worked fine
