Same here. i've heard of it but never got around to trying it. normaily use my phat for any homebrew that works on 1.50. but now i have a slim and i'm interested to see how this works.
-
I've used it and if you wan't any help with making the tutorial, I'm willing to help.
-
what does the time machine do?
-
It allows you to run complete firmwares off the memorystick more notably for the slim, a hybrid of 3.40 and 1.50 which allows the PSP Slim to run 1.50 home brew
-
VoX, i will rely on you for something if i make one, i'll need plenty of pics and as my slims screwed, would you??
if it does go ahead, i will make sure you will be given full credit
KEEP VOTING!!
and why doesnt anyone love me?? :cry2: :cry2: :cry2: lol

Well, VoX got dibs first but I can also help as I use the Time Machine on my slim for some of my favorite homebrew for 1.5 that can't be ported or stuff like that. Don't forget how to teach them to make a slim battery by using the fat one if they have it. I used my PSP Phat battery to boot up in 1.5 with my slim, switched out the batteries after I booted up and was plugged in, then went to the program pandora battery creator, It worked and now I have 2 PSP pandora batteries. But I would like to note that if you don't have the files on your memory card to boot it, (m.m.s.) it won't boot. In addition, I have also gotten many false readings about how low my battery power is. Sometimes when I'm using the pandora and it is at 16%, I decided to reset for some random reason. I did, it wouldn't turn back on. I had to plug it into the wall to turn in back on, then it said I had 1% battery power immediately. :P It does not gauge the battery lvls very well, so beware.

i just use a program called eloader it plays all my homebrew games on my slim 390m33-3 its probly about the same think

no it does some of the games, but not others. if you ewant to play all the games, then use time machine.

that could just be that its using 3.40 hardware with 1.50 software..
and yeah, all help is greatly appreciated..

Yes, Time machine is a better choice than E-Loader, it has native compatibility with programs.
-
well its unanimous (spelt wrong lol), i'm going to start writing up the tut 2nite... VoX ill be in touch regarding pics
edit soz vox my lil step bro's running tm but thanks for offering this ways just easier
-
sorry for double post but heres the tut w/o pics..
what you need...
pandora battery (can be used as normal battery after installation)
psp
pandora memory stick
and this tut
make sure your running 3.90 m33-2
pic 1
add time machine to your game folder
pic 2
you also need the 1.50 (rename to 150.pbp), 3.40 (340.pbp),the 3.60 psar(360.psar) and the msipl.bin from dc1-dc4
pic 3
now go to the game menu and go on time machine
pic 4
pic 5
install iplloaders (NOTE: if you have an error about boot sectors, logically format the memory stick and start again)
pic 6
convert pandora ipl to tm format
pic 7
now install the firmware/s you want to use
it should do this
vid 1
now turn off your psp and insert a pandora's batter (NOTE: You don't need a normal battery once this is installed.)
this is what should happen
vid 2
and there you have it!!
a tm psp
i know this is on the phat but you do the same thing.
TM : Time Machine
