Title: CARBON FIBER PSP!
Post by: tmandt on June 02, 2008, 01:05:54 AM: i just thought of this mod cause i remeber the slim was gonna be lighter than the phat and i thought of carbon fiber even lighter! well im not actually gonna make a mold of the psp using carbon fiber :laughing: ima buy carbon fiber vinyl and stick it on. ima make it perfet. but i dont know if i should do it or not. i was thinking about making the faceplate carbon too but idk if itll work or not. well i might just do only the back. i was thinking the whole back carbon and for the door carbon too but have a jewel saying "JDM and then have a pic of a psp under it" what do yall think? should i do it or not. :dntknw:

its either i do this mod or my other mod on my clear psp. i want to add uv purple leds

SORRY GUYS I HAVE TO POSTPONE THIS MOD UNTILL MY BDAY(JULY 5)IM HAVING OSOME FINANCIAL PROBS AS YOU CAN SEE! SO PLZ GO BUY SOMIN IN MY FS THREAD!

Post by: ApheX on June 02, 2008, 03:08:26 AM: i like the idea of a carbon fiber vinyl but purple leds would look better. unless you do both. was going to do this myself but i can't be bothered, lol! i was going to have a clear case will loads of leds but have a vinyl over the front so the light only goes through the sides.
be great with a sound mod.

i like your idea dude. you could cut small designs out of the carbon you place on the back so it glows through. end up with a unique looking psp. :tup:

Post by: anthonyta on June 02, 2008, 04:00:28 PM: i have carbon fiber for looks on the inside of my umd (behind jewel) pretty sexy with blue LEDS. if you're thinking of using carbon fiber at least use real carbon fiber ahha. i also use carbon fiber to cover up the yellow charge port's hole when i do dual nub. heres a link to real carbon fiber with adhesive behind it so you dont have to glue anything. the adhesive is really strong too.
