Post by: tripsalot on June 02, 2008, 06:42:10 AM
ok heres my problem,i took my psp apart to do the rings of light, got the umd door done, started some music to see the leds blink and all was good.i used the rubber thing from the buttons to make sure i had good connections and all the buttons worked and they do untill i put my faceplate on then the left direction dont work.took it back off and made sure everything was in the right spots and made sure it wasnt the d pad sensor, put the face back on and no left again?

Something you may check is whether the d-pad plastic lached into place against the lcd cage. 2 little tabs on the black plastic part of the dpad have to go into some notches in the LCD cage.
