Title: datel internal mod with ide drive via a microdrive to ide adapter ?
Post by: adrenalinedj on June 04, 2008, 04:03:31 AM: I know that the question was posed many times about the neo 2 in 1, but with the datel 4gb ?

Suppositions:
If I solder each pin of the datel microdrive adapter to an cf/ide 2"5 adapter (to the correct pin), can i plug an IDE 2"5 hdd and is it recognize by the psp ?
The cf/ide adpater do not need external power, could it be alimented (by default) by the PSP ?

Post by: VoX on June 04, 2008, 05:57:19 AM: First off, Datel has a 4GB limiter, Second there is no IDE to SD/ect. The adapter you linked has nothing to do with IDE to Mirodrive/Cf/SD, it works the other way around

2. there is a way to remove the 4gb limit on the neo but not the datel
3. i need a partner(with money :greedy:) cuz i wanna get some neos and work on making them internal but i don't got the funds :hifive:
