Title: Psp screen blacks out after inserting umd

1. take it back to where you bought it from, im sure they would give you an exchange, or ring up sony and tell them your problem

2. open it yourself and see anything that the other members have suggested doing

lol thats why i put it as option 2, incase he has no luck with option one

Post by: Rone226 on June 07, 2008, 10:58:30 AM: The warranty is out. More details about my problem: once the screen blacks out the volume mutes itself also. If I put it in sleep mode and turn it back on the screen comes back but I hae to turn the volume back on. I tried putting 3.90 m33-3 on it last night to try to play without umds it will load the game but than i cant press any button unless i put it in sleep mode than i can press buttons again until it does it again than sleep mode again to make them work. The only emulator that loaded up with no problem was nes. I ever tried timemachine and got the same results.

Post by: VoX on June 07, 2008, 12:00:18 PM: It keeps seeming to be more software related after I read every information you post, But the symptoms seem to be hard ware problems, ring up Sony first and see what they can do, last resort is to open it
