can wiring directly to speakers cause more problems than
just using the sound board?

acually depends on how many leds u want i like lots and super bright ones so i use ic chip

i dunno i use the IC and after 10 Led'z  it just doesnt want to power them no more
i use direct connection
 8 on 1 speaker and 16 on the other and there super bright!

i personally call that normal if u think that is bright wait till i finish mine 500mcd leds that when u start at them u get a lil blinder
