Which works better for the duel nub the spring or the washer. If the washer what size do i need?

it's just a matter of preference

Spring
-has the same analog sliding feel as the oem
-harder to put together

Washer
-easier to put together
-have to buy more parts
-doesn't have the same analog sliding feel

I'd recommend the spring, I have done both and the spring gives the best feel. Though you could like the washer but if you want to retain the OEM feeling, go for the spring
