What exactly do TV tuner cards do?
Are those the cards that let you record what's on your TV? Like record your games or something?If not what card does that, I know there is one..

they act like a microphone to sound, you would need software (usually bundled) to record and view the actual video

my tuner card lets me watch HD tv on my computer and works like a digital recorder for it. plus i can record off of any thing that will plug in to its S-video port.

what program do you use for the actual viewing? or did your OS automatically pick it up?

Ok so can someone pick out a card for me [preferably PCI Express 2.0 if they make them] that I would be able to record my Wii/360 etc on?

I use Dscaler for watching tv with my tvtuner.  :laughing:
