Title: Quick Question

Hey people! i've just made my first led trigger mod and will be posting a vid soon, but just want to know something. i made a direct sound led by hooking up the led to the speaker, pos to pos speaker and nev to nev speaker. i used blue 0603 blue leds. i'm going to use red for a mates, will i need a resistor?

No you will not need a resistor when doing the direct connection sound mod. There is not enough voltage from the speakers to burn out the LED. I have done the direct connection sound mod a few times with red LEDs and there are no problems.
