would not help as there is not tutorial
we are actually working on a mod to connect IDE hard drives to your psp
we know the process and just need to get a working model together and sort out stuff like practicallity and aesthetics once we have one
but once we have a working model we'll let you know the basic process and then full tutorial once its a complete functional process

I have not looked at modding PSPs in a while but last time I checked the hackers were looking at a tool to plug your external hdd into your psp and use that as memory.
Another thing that is useful if you are short of space is a photobank, it is a cool external hdd which allows you to plug in your memory card and write filed from the hdd to the card without a PC.
however internal memory i am not sure about, i will try to find the PSP sites I used to visit for you

it was probly with ir shell no modding just bused a hdd as host 4 psp

IDE HDD's are kinda big....
-
why not do internal sd card mod with 32gb sdhc its much easyer.
Yea probably not a good idea to bump up topics tho.

there hasnt been a succesful ( correct me if im wrong) internalization of a HDD into a PSP. the only thing i saw is gr8npwrfl's external HDD.

easiest way, get CR-5400,
No any kind of mod needed, simple, easy
-
yep prob the easiest way cr-5400, 2 16gb micro sd and bam 32gb bu cost a lot lol

I think the problem is that the PSP cannot act as a USB host and so cannot access the HDD
