Post by: JWhiteLightning on June 27, 2008, 04:47:48 PM
Hello, i am working on a psp project, and i didnt know if i should post this here or in PSP Software, but anyway, if it is the wrong section, can an Admin move it? I just need to know, cause i am trying to write a code, and i dunno how to , but i need to find out how to send firmware commands down the usb port whenever i need to. Does anyone know how to do this?

Why? Is it for the application you are making?

So the application you are making executes kernal commands from a PC through the USB? If so then you will first need to write a program the can execute commands that are not predetermined. I'm not familar with all the Kernal commands, I'd have a deep long look into them and have a look at some open source PSP homebrew applications to get a feel for what you have to do. If I come across any more information that could help you I will remeber to post it here

Wait, You just turned against your first question "i need to find out how to send firmware commands down the usb port whenever i need to". Have a look for some open source PSP applications that involve sending data from the PSP to your PC
