can i make a computer keyboard with a usb on the end so i can hook it into my ps3 its hard to explain the piece that connects into the computer can i cut that off an solder a usb to the end would it work?

you want to take the ps/2 connector and make it a USB. I guess it could be done but why no just grab a cheapo usb keyboard for the PS3
anyways, yeah, the connector is called a ps/2 connector, so hopefully that'll help yeah with your research

Don't know if it would be worth the hassle. You can get a cheap USB keyboard for like $2.
