Title: Can someone please answer?
Post by: rceckspurt13 on June 30, 2008, 11:06:48 AM
I realize that this is in the wrong section but i didnt get any responses in the correct one. I am going to buy a battery to make a pandoras out of. The only batteries i could find are the Sony MAX 2200mAh batteries. I just need to know if this will work for a pandoras. Thanks!

If you're good with a soldering iron, then may I suggest modding your original battery:

Oh, and 00G, how did you get the link to say CLICK ME?

Thanks for all who posted. I would mod my original battery, but it is the one model that is supposed to be pandora-proof. It is model psp-110. That's why I have to buy a new battery. I have to hard mod it tho since I dont have custom firmware.

I think the one wire hard mod is sooo easy, even a caveman can do it.  The only issue is glueing the batt back together.  It does bypass all the work of having to format the batt.  If I could just find a switch that would fit inside, it would be perfect...

I dont haves credit card or paypal or I would. Whatever I buy, I have to be able to get at a store of some kind.thanks for the help you guys. I think I'm going to go buy that battery by next weekend. When I do the downgrade, I'll be sure to film it and post so you guys can see that all your help paid off.

P.S. I'm trying to go from 4.00 to 3.80 m33-5. I haven't seen anyone do it before so I'm trying to be xtra careful to get it right.

Hey instead of useing the solder and risking :censored:ing up your battery just use the u.p.m.s (ultimate pandora memory stick to make the pandora battery and the memory stick with no risk you need to have custom firmware though if you have more ??? ask me...

like I said above, I dont have custom firmware. I'm on 4.00 trying to get to 3.80m33-5. My psp is not bricked and it is fully functional. Thereforei have to hard mod my battery. That's why I'm wondering if I can do this with a 2200 mAh battery.
