Title: First time modding. Night vision PSP camera

My own experience with taking them apart was pretty traumatic. The damd things are wrapped up tight. I suggest dynamite.

I can only confirm this. Dynamite is the way to disassemble it succesfully.

Also flathead screwdrive between microphone and housing, wiggle out. If I remember that correctly.

I got the mic cover removed now, the round stuff. I'm stuck on again though, don't know how to remove the camera back cover. Not sure what the tutorial means with the weld spots.

Post by: F00 f00 on July 07, 2008, 02:40:49 PM: I think, but dont quote me, therse a couple of spots that stick out a little from the rest of the case. Just be careful with it they brake pretty easily and it sucks to have to buy another one.

If it works out be sure to update the thread if you think its incorrect.

ps, please hyper link any links. theres a button for it in the posting terminal. It makes the forum more usable.

Post by: Zackarak on July 07, 2008, 02:57:48 PM: Tried to use a cutter on all of those spots directly after i managed to remove the mic cover. But I still can't remove the back cover. I have tried alot, maybe that dynamite thing sounds good now :P

I know about that tutorial. I'm following it :P. But im stuck on this step where I have to remove the round back cover by using a scalpel on the weld spots. I'm not sure how to manage to open it.
