Title: All white psp slim
Post by: anthonyta on July 08, 2008, 10:42:19 PM: i finally got my psp together. its not at FINAL mode yet but its untill i get money for the other craps.

heres the over view:

internal mic nice and hidden.

custom clear bar at the bottom (i made it myself) =] and the custom painted pearl white trim. (it doesn't look so pearl white because i put 2 layers of clear gloss over it. but i like it like that otherwise itd be girly) and yes i know that headphone jack is ugly. but its not like that anymore =]

16gb sdhc internal so i can still use mspd if i fee like it. and the led fader delux (fades while charging)

dual speakers in the UMD drive. (3 way push activated switch so i can switch between normal speakers and those ones in the back.) sound reactive lights turn on when the speakers in the back get turned on.

and thirdly what is the song thats playing at the start, its kinda like the song "paid in full - Eric b and Rakim" but a remix, can you please tell me the name of it

Im building the "test" amplifier now im not shure if its going to work ill post results tonight if it works accept mine wont have a fadder. My leds are red but i might switch to uv if i can find some pm me if anyone has any.

the bar at the bottom is customed by me. i basically searched for something clear but not glass clear just clear. then i cut it down with my dremel pretty thin. and epoxied it in place. if you look at the bar from side view it looks like this /| but thats for the slim. you can do it for the fat just look for the bar and make it haha.

the song is by z-ro. its his freestyle i think its called mo city don. the beat was originally from a 2pac song i believe. and it was just edited with more bass and that girls voice

i also did the bar on my first psp slim. i made it all black =]

i think you can use the edge of a cd case. you typically want to find something pretty thick so it doesn't show a huge gap when you put the door back on.

yea basically but not the bottom of the door the its the little piece between the door and the trim thats a part of the backplate

You've done the impossible. You have managed to mod a psp and load it full of LEDS (not to mention everything else) without making it look overflashy! Now if Sony could make their psps like this...

same exact mic that the guy who made the first internal mic used. its from an old phone. go search it up. his mic hole is where the x^o[] is though

Ive seen red n blu triggers at psxbox. Does anyone know where he got the color trim from or cutsom painted, n ring? Also if anyone knows if there are some color trim/ triggers/ring for psp1000

I'm going to order those tonight.
EDIT: ordered. took me a while though because their site will only works with ie 7. I had to go over to my mom's computer and do it >.>.

I couldn't find the strap on DX anywhere, the only thing I could find like that was the blue soft pouch.

haha fine get a blue strap then =[ i didn't get it from dx though. just google up the psp madden bundle. you'll see the blue L&R etc.

Keep the other one. This one is cool but not as cool as the other one. But thats just my opinion.
