Title: Razor x easier to solder?
Post by: Sanctus on July 09, 2008, 04:41:05 PM
Just had an idea today. Because its prety hard to solder to those pins on the mobo for the razor x, my idea is tat you could get a piece of plastic, get the wires from the razor and lightly melt them to the plastic farish apart. then get a conductive pen and make a line from each pin to the correct wire on the plastic. duno if this is easier cause iv never actually done the razor x but just an idea :dntknw:

to be honest i think it would be easier to solder. yes the solder points on the razor are small but with a bit of practise it's fine. nice idea tho.

nono not on the razor i mean when you solder to the pins on the mobo they are extremely small so this would be easier i would assume. I can solder the razor x pretty easily but i haven't tried to solder to the pins yet so idk

Well Sanctus i would just use about the same technique you used to solder to the razor x, I plan on soldering to the pins today so i'll let you know how it goes.
