I was wondering what a W34063 IC does. Does it do the same thing as the LM386? I want to know what it does so I dont accidentially use it in a way its not supposed to be used. Thanks.

The W34063 is a 1.5 amp switching dc to dc voltage regulator as far as I know.

Please give me then entire part number so I can make sure.

It would look like APW34063J or something like that.

ok sorry. Here's it W34063WFE. It then has a small 31 next to it but I'm not sure if that is part of the part number or not.

I can't find anywhere that it is related to an amplifier
