Ok, in everyone's opinions, what's the best way to make a custom case? I'm thinking of making something and it's gonna be crazy sick. I just need to know the best way to make custom cases, so post your opinions here!!
No flaming each other.
I was thinking of cutting cases up and frankencasing it, jsut cutting and glueing together, then using some kind of filler in the empty spaces, then sanding everything down and putting some kind of coating over it so it's nice and smooth, and then painting it in the end. Good idea?

hey maybe i didnt understand what you were trying to say but, if you cut up cases, then glued them back to together, filled the gaps and painting over all of it, what would be the point of cutting up the different cases in the first place? wouldnt it be easier to just paint a normal case?
again sorry if i got this all wrong, maybe you can explain it to me

Because I'm making a CUSTOM case, like a whole new case. Rearranging parts and stuff like that. That's why I'd cut regular cases up, and glue them together how I want.

Like a custom case for what? a computer or something? Whatever it is, the ideal way would probably be to CNC it, but that is unlikely to find, unless you can find a shop to let you use theirs.

A portable. A small portable. Something like the size of a psp.

PLEASE don't tell me you want me to make a handheld case from clay. My God.
That would be hard as hell, not to mention heavy!
Can someone suggest a, like, filler epoxy or something?
