Ok this is going to sound pretty cheap.
I need to no some kind of glue that with stead quiet of bit of heat what im want to do put a fan on my dell dimision 2400 cpu heatsink to keep it alot cooler but it doesnt have holes to install a fan so i found a cpu fan housing that can fit on top of it but i need to get it on some how so anyone help the me out please.
o yea i dont want to spend more then a few dollars and that for the glue lol.

Gorilla Glue D:
To be honest, just screw the fan onto the HEATSINK. Like, screw the screws into the spaces between the grills of it. That's how it's set up on my old desktop.
-
yea i was thinking gorrila glue ill have to see the tempertures on it
i wpu;d screw it on but the heat sink grills are to thin so it wouldnt really stay in plaace

http://www.arcticsilver.com/arctic_silver_thermal_adhesive.htm (http://www.arcticsilver.com/arctic_silver_thermal_adhesive.htm)
no idea if it'll work, but it says it can do everything you want it to do. Just remember this is a heatsink compound (like putting heatsink onto proc). Its made more for attaching RAM sinks and such to the board, but I think it would do just fine for you.
-
no thats just thermal compound stuff i need glue the stuff u showed doesnt dry up like that

Lol, this time actually click the link. "Thermal Adhesive" right at the top, and a warning at the bottom.
"CAUTION!
Arctic Silver Thermal Adhesive is a permanent adhesive.
Components you attach with Arctic Silver Thermal Adhesive will stay attached forever.
Arctic Silver Thermal Adhesive should be kept cold and away from UV light (sunlight and florescent lighting).
We recommend refrigerating the unused material and allowing it to come to room temperature prior to use. "
Its a compound yes, but not like you're thinking. Its a THERMAL ADHESIVE compound, aka glue that conducts heat.

but still i dont think it would work thnx tho
ill probably just get som gorilla glue i no that will work because one time my freind glue a guiter hero guiter with grollia glue and i had to take a axe to it to get it off.
-
As long as it doesn't melt with heat it should be fine
-
Also, all the thermal compound made from silver (best conductive compound), well atleast most of them act like superglue, they stick permenantly to the cpu and heatsink
-
So are u guys sure it will work for gluing the plastic to the heat sink?
Because I don't want to spend my money on something that's not going to work.
