ok, not sure if this can be done, but i'm interested in adding a blue smd 0603 led to these headphones so there sound reactive. just in idea really. can this be done?

Totally possible, but it depends how much power it runs on ect.

yeah, this is what i'm unsure about. last thing anyone wants is a leds popping in your earhole, lol!

I wonder if they would be bright enougth to make iPod headphones glow if you were to put them in behind the speakers as I know there is pleants of room for one or two SMD LEDs

i reckon you would only need one led. anymore and it might not work. just need to find out what the voltage and the amp is for the earphones, then i'll give it a try. hopefully it wouldn't be an over kill. sound modded psp with sound modded earphones. i'd end up looking like electro from the running man. (without the classical singing that is, lol)
