Title: PSP slim L and R led mod help?

hi im new to modding and i quite need help putting the led lights on. can anyblody show me a pic or a vid that can show me how to put the led light s on my PSP slims L and R button? what materials do i need? would a 5mm led light work?

I would recommend an 0603 LED or similar

My friend used a 1.5mm or something like that. It turned out pretty good.

Well there you go!  You can use 1.5mm LED's but I still like my 0603's

ok 1.5mm i tried to look for one at radio shack but they didnt have one and i saw a vid and they sed u can use one called SMT(surfacemount) but it was for a psp fat, i couldnt tell wat it look like but can anyone give me a pic of wat it looks like? and where to solder the wire to? and also can i use a 24 gauge  wire instead of a 26? or is it too fat? al so again for the led light wud anykind work as long as it will fit in the L and R buttons? sorry for asking so much lol!

yes any led will work as long as it will fit in the tiggers, yes any size wire will work and it shouldnt be much thicker than 26 gauge, the smt leds are really tiny and are available on mouser and ebay.
if you want sound reactive leds theres two optins direct connection or the lm386 chip.for the lm386 there is a tutorial search for it, and for direct you simply solder the wire to the contacts on the speakers and the contacts on the led's

if you have a dremmel 5 mm leds will work just dremmel close as you can to the metal in the led and polish it with the cotton thing dremmel out triggers and hot glue the led in you got a 3000 mcd led in the triggers SUPER bright compared to the normal 100 mcd 603
