I was planning on buying red and black from DX... but they don't have the smoke black case that I want...

My plan is Smoke Black, Red Trim and buttons then LED on buttons and Triggers...

Can anyone confirm if CoolMods do custom trims that you want...

I plan to use Duplicolor metalcast black on my trim ring and sholder buttons. they do make a red and it would look killer if you used that on your buttons.
It's a transparent paint so it won't effect the LED's your planning to install

I painted the nud red. I got the paint from "HobbyTown USA" using tomiya color, think i spelled it right.

Post by: ApheX on September 02, 2008, 02:10:04 AM: dude, that's a great psp. is similer to the one i made two days ago (black crystal/blue). are you going to add leds to the umd door? if so, i'd recommend drilling a very shallow hole where you want to put them. when i first added them they were very dull, but after drilling and replacing the leds, they were fine.
