the thing is I don't know what it is, so can somebody clear things up for me? :help:

Post by: sprocketme2 on August 04, 2008, 07:04:38 PM: If the circular part can be rotated using a screwdriver, then it is a potentiometer. If the circular part doesnt rotate, then it could just be glued in place, or a transitor. Either way, it COULD be used in a psp so this is a valid thread.

For future questions about what parts are called, try looking at pictures of what you think it might be on Wikipedia.

that's the problem I don't even have a single clue on what it is
EDIT: gr8pwnfl pmed me and it turns out it was an ir receiver for the remote
guess this really does have no place in the psp section...
