I just bought my first Xbox 360, and it was just the pro, but it has an HDMI port on the back. I've done some reasearch and this is a standard feature along with the better heat sinks Microsoft puts in the referbished 360's.
My question is: Has anybody got the Red Ring of Death with this newer version of the 360?
I would like to know so I can decide if I need to buy or build a cooling system.

You don't need to buy or build a cooling system for ANY 360. You CAN get the RRoD on ANY 360. Just make sure it has ample air flow and you'll never need to worry about it!
IF you're still wondering, I have that one. HAs HDMI, too. I've left mine on in a small confined space for over 5-6 hours and nothing. You don't need to worry.
