Title: memory slot fuse help

hey does anyone know if theres a fuse somewhere for the memory stick slot cuz it stoped working but the orange led would go on but my stupid friend shoved a knife in and now the orange led wont go on and the memory stick  slot dosent do anything thanks for your help :beg: :beg:

The pins that touch the Memory stick probably aren't connecting correctly...

i alredy checked that and solder memory stick directly to pins and still no answer

you would need to check to see if any of the resistors have been removed. you could brigde them if there missing, but if i where you i'd be getting that kid to buy you a new one. why did he shove a knife in the psp?

well he gave it 2 me but ima compare my working slim mobo cuz sin he riped the slot out but he didnt damage anything

lol, nightmare. well like i said just search around where the slot was damaged. i don't think it's the pins on the slot, it sounds more like a missing resistor or the knife may have a cut a trace on the mobo.
