Hey. One of my screws doesn't seem to be going in properly. I screw it in and it stays in the hole but it doesn't hold the faceplate on like it should(theres a gap like it would be without having that screw on). It's the one behind the battery at the top. Do you have any idea how to get around this/ how to fix it? If thats even possible. Thanks

it sounds like you have stripped the thread in the hole. you should order a new faceplate, the other methods will make it so it will be extremely hard to open again.

I think it's my backplate because I have another faceplate and I still have the same problem with it. I used multiple screws too. I will probably buy a new case, but just for further knowledge, can you tell me the methods to keep it shut even though it would be hard to open again. Thanks for the reply :)

superglue the screw and screw it in?

I had this same problem on a PSP phat. The faceplate screw will not screw in. Just have to change the faceplate and the problem is solved.

But that is kinda a pain. Do you think there's some sorta drill out there that can remake the stripped inside.

It was not a stripped screw. It was that the faceplate's screw hole got messed up so the screw wont screw in.
