Title: my new leds stay on when the controller is not on
Post by: Winterz117 on August 22, 2008, 05:22:48 PM: when i plug the controller in my new leds i put in the abxy and guide button stay on, even if the controller is not on. its like they are constantly drawing power :boxed: is there a way to fix it besides wiring in an on/off switch?

edit: i looked at the power saver installation pictures of mikes, but this is on a cheap controller (just to make sure i dont mess up my good controller) and doesnt have all the pins. i tried the cg power saver and it was on all the time, and i dont have the pins for the matrix one, so i guess im just going to wire an on/off switch to the lights. would i put that in the positive or the negative?

Post by: mhawk134 on August 22, 2008, 05:33:03 PM: where did you wire them too? the + on the bat terminals? u should use the spot that Kingmike posted in the powersaver installs, it comes on when the controller turns on, infact it u barely touch the guide button it will come on, but that is what I plan to use.

Well like I said I'm sorry if that offends anybody but I'm not changing it because it pisses you of to look at one word at the end of a sentence, get pissed off over something that matters, and not something stupid.
