Title: Resistor Question.
Post by: Nemesis on August 23, 2008, 12:36:56 PM
if i use these leds to swap both the power and charge led - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/10-160mcd-ULTRA-BRIGHT-BLUE-0603-SMD-LEDs-SMT-LED_W0QQitemZ260277768179QQcmdZViewItem?_trksid=p3286.m20.l1116 (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/10-160mcd-ULTRA-BRIGHT-BLUE-0603-SMD-LEDs-SMT-LED_W0QQitemZ260277768179QQcmdZViewItem?_trksid=p3286.m20.l1116)

and then use the 3.6v point on the powerboard and the hold switch point as ground, to try and power 8 of those same leds, what resistor is needed? 10ohm causes the leds to be too dim, wondering maybe a 1k but i dont wanna risk burning an led out.

thanks.

wait a sec isn't 1k 1000 ohms? you leds won't turn on at all with that.

Probably just use no resistor as Bhawen Said
