Title: Help Psp battery point on mother board.

I broke the battery point on mother board i need alternate spots to solder. pLEASE help

I tried to connect it to the ac point but thats for 5v not 3.6v

If you broke traces and what not you may need a new mobo....

agreed, i wouldn't know a way of fixing that or finding another point to use. get a new mobo, be alot easier.

I think you could go ahead and do the usb charger mod so you eliminate
the power input adapter.

Just follow the mod tutorials

am looking at my old dead 079 mobo and am looking at urs and am wondering

Its not the charge power input that broke off its the battery input...unless im reading this wrong. Looks like he tried to wire up the (3.6V) battery power input to the 5V charge input wire.



But yea...how did u manage to do that... picture are too blurry, can u follow the trace scrape the green to review copper then solder it. or did the trace came off too...

Must of been a lose point cuz that would take time to get that off and looks like he didnt damage it that bad from what i can see even tho its blury..
