i just heard about Halo 4 and want to find out more. If you guys get any info this is the place to post it

Thats not real... there will be no Halo 4. On the halo 3 case it says "last game of the trilogy" and if you have beat halo 3 on legendary you will see the predicament that masterchief is in. There might be another halo, just not a halo 4.

i was watching X-play and they said halo 4 is going to come out with the new Xbox releases

hes right! i just wached it too haha they announced it at leipzig, i guess its gona be made by gearbox. i dunno if its going to be called halo 4 but i sure hope so that would be badass i love halo

well...i guess they werent lying. i mean a trilogy would be a pretty bad trilogy with more then three now right? either that or they werent expecting to make another halo

ive heard that in 2010 microsoft is going to be announcing there next generation hardware. it probably wont be released untill late 2012, but i think that microsoft really wants a halo game as that consoles release titles. i know i bought a 360 to play halo, did you guys?

i think that is true. i know a lot of people that just bought because of Halo and if Halo isn't around they might not buy it

I don't know if ya'll really care, but I was just browsing Bungie and saw this from yesterday:

It seems to be another ARG, if your familiar with the "hidden" and "secret" messages bungie puts out before any of their new games are announced. Real big before Halo 3 with "ilovebees", a set of messages that went on for months, all the way up to the day the game was released; then they just stopped, leaving everybody wondering. Now everybody at bungie.net is OCD'ing over these. Kinda interesting to look at, but really nothing big.

Bungie has released a trailer for their NEW GAME but its called HALO3 RECON so im guessing it might be a campain add-on in the style of the old map pack tradition... something to hold us over during the Holiday (GEARS OF WAR) season! From my understanding of the Halo universe I would have to guess that it predates HALO COMBAT EVOLVED (time-linewise)

hes right, you can see the video on the xbox marketplace, xbox.com or bungie.net. its a campaign/co-op addon named Halo 3: Recon....but sadly it doesnt come out till fall of 2009

comes out next november. It is a new campaign that you dont play as master cheif but as a unsc soldier. Also the multiplayer is same just new maps added. Pretty much there just trying to take 60$ more from everyone one last time :greedy:

Guys still note that gearbox is not Making "Halo 3: Recon or ODST"
So Another Halo Game With Master Chief in it will Most Likely happen.
Basically you're still Master Chief but now it wont be called "halo" as a title.
Now that im thinking of it its looking more and more like Marathon were a guy lands on this planet and has to Fight to survive.
I wonder If this will be the new story line for Master Chief??
any thoughts on this guys?

i bought my first xbox just for Halo, then got the 360 for Halo 3 but i think its going to be over played with this Halo wars and Halo ODST. i think if they make a halo for it will just be pushing the game to far. plus with bungie not making the game who knows what we will end up with.

in this they said that gearbox and Microsoft had some conversations on making this but remember that bungie split from xbox/microsoft so bungie owns halo some i dont think gearbox can make halo4 with permission from bungie and there are rumors that when xbox720 comes out that will might hear more from halo4 or anything halo4 related
i know halo odst and hal wars are coming out on this march and then wars of this fall
