Alright,
My psp sat for about a month when i was too busy to play with it. i plugged it into the wall and turned it on, it started up fine, i had it one for only a few seconds then shut it off and left it to charge.
I came back to it and it wouldnt turn on, eventually i got it to turn on and it stayed on for about 30 seconds then shut off on its own. I turned it back on and it stayed on for 10 seconds and shut off again. now when i flip the switch it flashes the backlight for half a second and goes back off.
I put my pandora battery and mem card in and it started up, so i went ahead and reloaded the firmware from the pandora. everything worked fine. i then took out the battery and put my orignal battery back in and plugged it into the wall, and all it does is flash the screen or doesnt come one at all.
I took the battery out thinking it was bad and just had it plugged into the wall, same thing, wont start.
i purchased a new power board(third party) and nothing, still wont start.
what could be wrong with it. keep in mind it has never been dropped or gotten wet.

well its not the fuse, it has good continuity....
what else could it be?
-
u sure there is 5v on the left side ?
-
with it plugged in to the wall and i test for voltage i get 4.98 volts from ground to the left side of the fuse.

Is this a stock or modded PSP ?
-
hardware wise it is stock, ive been running cfw for a long time now w no problems.
the only think i have done is i ordered a new powerboard thinking it was the problem and put it in, but with no change in symptoms.
