Title: xbox 360 controller won't turn on without play n charge kit?

i tried to mod one of my controllers and the mod works fine but now the controller will not turn or stay on without the play and charge kit does anyone have any ideas?

It *sounds* like you may have fried the battery terminals. I THINK.

try a AA pack see if it works.

when its pluged in i can use it as normal ans i use my play n ghrge batteries in another controller that works fine

i would be carful, sounds kind of dangerous,  if i remember correctly, when the gnd and +v is shorted it wont power on.
