Title: Face button rewire mod
Post by: rceckspurt13 on September 02, 2008, 07:52:56 AM: I saw the tutorial on how to make your psp turn on and off with the music button. I am thinking of doing this but I have a few questions. First, do I have to cut the trace off of the original power switch? Will I be able to turn my psp on and off with the regular switch?

Also thisis completely unrelated but does anyone know what number is on a 10ohm smt resistor? I have an abundance of smt resistors and I need to know which are 10ohm.

But also you cant use the note button anymore after you do this mod.

EDIT!

YOU DON'T NEED TO CUT IT!

Just solder to the Top leg of the switch and it can be used from the note button and power switch!

I couldn't believe it would work! :dribble: :dribble:

EDIT: never mind. I found out about the resitors after a whole lot of google searching. Turns out the number is 100 for a 10 ohm smt resistor. Correct me if I'm wrong.
