Theres nothing under the X button but the battery.. Below the X button is the power connector. Have you ever opened your PSP (added any mods)? Does it only get warm when charging it, have you checked the battery, IE: removed the battery when you notice that the X button was hot?

I opened it once when trying to fix the UMD reader, but i did not do any mods. Well it gets warm without charging but when i plug in the cord i cant feel any difference, so it doesnt get warmer when i charge it. When plugged in without the battery it is still warm, i think it has something to do with the power board thingie where the on/off and hold button is. Anyway thanks for the reply
