so the stock 360 dpad is horribly unresponsive. to solve this problem i cut up an old ps2 controller and put the dpad on my 360 controller :victory: and it looks great. its one of those clear blue ps2 controllers so i put leds in it. there will be pictures of it lit up when i put the controller back together

im gona make it cleaner later, with glazing putty and whatnot but its playable and thats fine for now :tup:

No it's not...all 4 of my controllers are responsive. :D
Looks cool though. Idea though. If you painted the dpad over with white to match the controller, it would be only the outside that's white, so the leds shouls still shine through it. That would be awesome.

yeah dude that would be sick! idk why but my stock d pad didnt even work anymore. id try and call in an airstrike or something and the dpad would hit the side wall and it wouldnt even press down, idk why.

yep comepletely free :) i had an extral red led lying around and i also used the led from the ps2 controller to light the dpad hehe :winker:

Winterz, you have to show me how you did this. I told my friend about it and he really wants me to do it. And so do I! Can you list the steps out?

i never liked the 360 d-pad myself. its a great idea and you did a great job putting it together. i might have to try that....(digs thru stuuf looking for ps controller...)
